Every December PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE (POP) holds a conference and Christmas luncheon to honor its volunteer Lay Chaplains and the beautiful ways God has worked through them during their time with patients, families, caregivers, and staff in healthcare systems every week throughout every year. Churches, organizations, POP staff and board, and the Lay Chaplains gather in fellowship to celebrate the ministry and bring recognition to the Lay Chaplains in gratitude for their faithful service.
This conference has three significant components:
